About
Bernie grew up mostly in Sydney, NSW before moving to Hobart Tasmania in 2007.
Bernie has been playing and performing music since he was a teenager, completing a bachelor of music at the Australian Institute of music in 1999. These days he also works as an electrician, however music is and has always been his real passion.
Performing locally in Hobart, privately and publicly, mostly as a solo artist and now a recently formed a trio. Although predominantly Bernie has played cover gigs, he is extremely excited at the prospects of writing and playing more of his own music.
Bernie released his first Ep in September 2020 titled “A long time coming”, recorded at Samuel Besters studio “ Elephant Ears”, located just outside Hobart. Two of his songs from this Ep are on Spotify if you would like to have a listen and he has the Ep on cd in full .
